Ans:
The employment third preference
is for aliens with a bachelor's degree or less. It is basically a catch-all
category for people who do not qualify under the first or second preference
categories. A Labor Certification
or a National Interest Waiver
is required for employment third preferences. Employment third preference
is divided into the following:
- professionals with bachelor's
degrees in their fields,
- skilled workers, i.e. aliens
who have at least two years of training or experience in occupations which
requires such training or experience,
- unskilled workers.
