Job Description:

The Law Offices of Edward C.Y. Lau is looking for a motivated, multi-lingual paralegal to handle telephone intakes and simple legal tasks. Most intakes will involve immigration. Therefore, immigration experience is preferred. The current opening is for a Chinese speaking paralegal who can communicate with our Chinese speaking clients without the assistance of an interpreter.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese, although fluency in both is preferred) and English
• Ability to read and write in Chinese is preferred
• Friendly and Personable
• Experience in immigration, estate planning, and business is preferred
