Shirley Lau has been with the firm since 1980. She is the office manager, a paralegal and the wife of the senior partner, Edward Lau. She is also a licensed Notary Public and a licensed Real Estate Broker.

She is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's Paralegal Practice Section and is the former president of the Women's Auxiliary. She was also the former president of the Chinese American Women's Business League, the former president of the Chinese Women's League, and the current Vice-President of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women.

Shirley Lau was born in Hsin-Dzu City, Taiwan, R.O.C. She received her B.S. from the Taiwan Provincial Chung-Hsin University and her ___ from the University of California, Berkeley.
