Have you ever been on an internet mailing list? It's a lot of fun and really fosters a lot of good conversation. And best of all, it's free!!!

A digested e-mail will be sent to all members whenever there are 6 messages in the list or after 1 day, whichever comes first. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve it, please let me know.

To subscribe to the mailing list:

1) From the email address that you want to use for the mailing list, send an e-mail to: sf_saltwater_fishing-subscribe@egroups.com
2) You can leave the "subject" and "body" of the email blank.
4) After sending in your subscription, you will get a reply from egroups.  Just follow the instructions in that reply.
5) That's it!!! There's no cost to subscribe -- it's free! Enjoy.

When you want to post something to the list, just reply back to the digested list. Be sure to modify the "subject heading" because that will be placed at the top of the next list in the index. Also, if your e-mail program is set to include the original text in your reply, you should delete the irrelevant original text so that we keep the digested lists small.

Remember....this is a SAN FRANCISCO SALTWATER FISHING mailing list. A few freshwater or out-of-state tips are nice, but please don't clutter our discussion with too much information that members of our mailing list won't be interested in. For example, I don't care that the bluefish are biting in Boston, Mass or that there's a 1/2 off sale on fishing rods in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Even though this list is open to the entire world, let's try to keep the scope down to something specific. Thanks!
